Zephyr at 10: the RTOS the field actually kept

Linux Foundation Research’s Zephyr Turns 10 study (n=413) is unusually clear for an embedded survey. 70% of surveyed organisations in the US and Canada already use Zephyr in products; 62% in Europe. 69% plan to increase use. 1% plan to decrease. 52% support Zephyr products for 5–10 years or longer. The project reports 1,000+ boards.

That is not a hobby RTOS. It is a production operating system with a decade of ecosystem behind it — and a support horizon that matches the devices people actually ship.
